 Perched on rugged granite cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the lighthouse offers breathtaking coastal views.   Built in 1858, it remains an active lighthouse guiding boats safely into Bass Harbor.

 The trail follows the rocky coastline, offering beautiful views of the ocean, islands, and tide pools. Keep an eye out for seabirds, shorebirds, and sometimes seals offshore.

 The lobster you find here is some of the freshest you can get, often caught that very day. Besides lobster, look for dishes featuring scallops, haddock, mussels, and fresh local fish. This spot is a local favorite!

Looking for a little more challenge? These peaks have multiple routes to the top ranging in difficulty. On the summits, enjoy stunning views of lakes, islands, and mountains.
